WHAT: In a substantial boost to its ongoing recovery work for local small businesses, Denver Economic Development & Opportunity (DEDO) in partnership with Mile High United Way is now accepting applications for assistance through a $5M program to support and sustain small businesses facing displacement, disruption from construction, operating challenges, or neighborhood safety—all factors exacerbated by the pandemic.
WHO: The Business Impact Opportunity Program is designed for Denver small businesses located within Denver’s Neighborhood Recovery Index or operating within specified business sectors with $5 million or less in revenue.
WHY: This program is designed to address the challenges faced by small businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19pandemic. This fund is specially crafted for those businesses that are more severely experiencing these challenges and systemic barriers.
WHEN: Applications are now open and close at 5 p.m. (MST) on June 13, 2022. Additional application rounds are anticipated later this year.
HOW: Applications can be submitted online via the application portal. Need help applying?
