Applications Open: Citywide Mentor Protege Program
Applications are now open for DEDO’s Division of Small Business Opportunity Mentor-Protégé Program. The Citywide Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to develop long term business relationships between established prime contractors, certified small firms and city agencies. This program is driven by the overarching mission of encouraging the city’s utilization of certified small firms on city professional services, construction, good and service projects.
HOW IT WORKS:
-Mentor and Protégé firms must self-select and apply jointly.
-Teams co-develop a one-year growth plan with input from a designated city agency.
-Participation requires a shared commitment of time and resources.
-Teams can reapply for a second year to advance their development goals.
