Denver plans to insert Auxiliary Dwelling Units/ADU’s into all of Denver’s neighborhoods to increase “affordable” housing and add to density of housing inventories. They are holding several open houses which were advised late afternoon on January 24 via email. Public presentation by Josh Palmeri, CPD with opportunities to ask questions.
Auxiliary Dwelling Unites/ADUs in Denver project released their draft recommendations to make it easier to build accessory dwelling units and to ensure ADUs better fit in different neighborhoods. The recommendations are open to public comment through February 24, 2023.
There are multiple opportunities for residents to provide feedback on the recommendations, which will be used to further refine the recommendations before they are considered by the Denver City Council.
