The Denver Fire Department is happy to share with you that this summer we will be having our Youth Career Exploration Camp. Our application process is now open.
Participating in our camp is an excellent opportunity that allows our youth to learn, experience, and recognize the possibilities of a future career as a Denver Firefighter. Campers will participate in hands-on simulated emergency fire and rescue situations, with an opportunity to earn First Aid and CPR certificates. It is the mission of our instructors to instill participants with team building and leadership skills, along with valuable life lessons, while having fun! Our hope is to inspire these participants to consider working as a Denver Firefighter after their high school and college careers.
- Our camp will take place on Mon., June 5th – Wed., June 7th from 9a to 2p @ the Rocky Mountain Fire Academy, located at 5440 Roslyn, Building F., Denver, CO 80216.
- Attached is the flyer with all of the pertinent details.
- Here is the application link https://forms.gle/2QwvvEnKNPMR4LVN7
Please NOTE:
- Due to limited space, applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
- We will have a waitlist and will accommodate as many requests as possible.
- Submitting the application does not guarantee acceptance into the DFD Youth Career Exploration Camp program.
- An additional acceptance confirmation will be sent after all documents have been submitted.
- A Google form application must be completed for each child/youth.
We look forward to providing our youth with a memorable experience. So, please consider completing an application for your youth(s) and sharing this announcement with your distribution lists.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
