Keep Denver cool! Plant a tree at your house, apartment, school, church, or workplace this spring!
The Park People’s Denver Digs Trees program offers trees for planting at any Denver address. Anyone can apply. This year they selected 11 different varieties of tree for every site, each proven to survive Denver’s harsh climate and urban conditions. Program Basics:
- Eligibility The Park People’s Denver Digs Trees program offers free and low cost trees for planting at any Denver address.
- Application period runs from Jan 7 – Feb 15
- Trees will be available for pick-up and planting April 24-26, 2025
- Trees are $10 for Denver’s low canopy neighborhoods and $35 for all other neighborhoods.
- Anyone can request to receive a tree for free simply by clicking the ‘treeship’ box and writing a brief statement of need.
- Delivery and planting assistance available upon request
