DESCRIPTION:The McNichols Civic Center Building exhibitions are free and open to the public daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Location: 144 W Colfax Ave\, Denver\, CO 80202 \nFall Exhibitions: \nMargaret Kasahara: Notable (McNichols Building\, First Floor Community Gallery)\, Sept. 1-Dec. 18. “Notable” is an exhibition of interdisciplinary work inspired by everyday experiences and observations – from familiar routine to extraordinary events. DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars! We will be having our fifth Community Day on Saturday\, September 24 from 10am-12pm! Are you curious about plants and their medicinal applications? Join us for a workshop that explores our relationship to plants and how they can reconnect us with our bodies.  Hosted by Mallory from Tend Herbal Medicine! \n\n\nWe will focus on:\nOrganoleptics and using our senses\nPlants and the body\nBasic energetics of medicinal plants\n\nThis is an interactive class that includes a tea tasting and herbal books for browsing.
