DESCRIPTION:Apply by May 13th!\nCitywide Mentor-Protégé Program\nWhat: Denver Economic Development & Opportunity‘s Division of Small Business Opportunity is now receiving applications for the Citywide Mentor-Protégé Program to help expand the capacity of certified minority and women-owned businesses\, and address some of the challenges faced by small firms as they pursue city contracting opportunities. \nWho: This program is designed to develop long term business relationships between established prime contractors\, certified minority and women-owned business firms and city agencies. \nWhy: Through mentorship\, certified minority and women-owned businesses can learn from larger firms and develop the necessary skills to help scale their businesses. DESCRIPTION:Sprout City Farms is a proud member of the Denver Community Food Access Coalition\, and together multiple organizations are working to increase food access in Denver. \nWe are delighted to extend an invitation to you for a crucial community event: the Food In Communities Listening Session on April 23\, 5-7pm\, at the Posner Center\, located at 1031 33rd St #100\, Denver\, CO 80205. \nThe focus of this gathering is to collectively address the vital issue of equitable access to healthy\, affordable\, and culturally relevant food within our neighborhoods. Partnering with the Department of Public Health and Environment\, we aim to foster dialogue\, share insights\, and collaborate on strategies to enhance food access for all residents. \nYour participation is invaluable as we work towards building inclusive and sustainable solutions that benefit our community as a whole.  We welcome all topics and feedback related to food including but not limited to school lunches\, SNAP benefits\, food for new immigrants\, grocery store access\, cost of food\, etc.To secure your spot and contribute your voice to this important conversation\, please sign up using the RSVP Link. You can still sign up to attend.  Food\, interpretation and child care will be provided.
