DESCRIPTION:From Cole Neder\, a Senior Transit Planner with the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and a member of the project team that is working with Denver\, Lakewood\, Aurora\, Glendale\, the Regional Transportation District (RTD)\, and CDOT to develop an Alameda Avenue Corridor Study. \nThe purpose of this study is to identify current safety or mobility challenges along Alameda\, and outline solutions to make the corridor safer\, better for transit riders\, and more accessible for all users in the future. You can learn more about the study here: https://engage.drcog.org/alameda-avenue-study. \nOur steering committee identified Winston Downs Community Association as a group with stakeholders that live\, work\, or travel along this corridor.
