DESCRIPTION:Join Sprout City Farms and partners on Saturday September 17th from 5-7pm to see for yourself the trailblazing work SCF is doing as we grow production-scale vegetables under solar panels at Jack’s Solar Garden in Longmont. Meet our agrivoltaic research partners from Colorado State University\, National Renewable Energy Laboratory\, University of Arizona\, and Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center to learn more about all the groundbreaking projects at Jack’s studying the impact of co-locating regenerative agriculture with renewable energy! \nGuests will enjoy: \n\nfarm tours\na silent auction of local goods & experiences\, plus a Booze Pull\nlive music from local band members of Distance Walk\na scrumptious menu of solar-grown fare prepared by Chef Sean Gafner of The Roost\, featuring our farm-fresh produce and lamb from sheep grazed under solar panels\nlocal drinks including cocktails from Laws Whiskey House\, beer from Westfax Brewing Co.\, and cider from Colorado Cider Company!\n\nPlease join us in support of Sprout City Farms’ educational and food access programs: tickets can be purchased on our website here.  $100 per person\, plus $25 for “booze”\nWe have an educator discount! Please help us spread the word and invite your friends via our Facebook event and posts on Instagram!
