Feedback Opportunity
[Info provided by Dave Halterman, WD resident]
RTD has been planning some major changes to their policies and we don’t want you to miss out on providing your input. First, I’m jazzed about most of the changes RTD is considering making to their fare and pass structure, and we think you’ll be, too. Check out details from RTD, then use our comment guide to submit a comment (or share your own ideas!) at the bottom of the website or sign up to share your thoughts at one of these virtual or in-person meetings:
Second, I also want to congratulate you (Dave Halterman)—when you stood up for fairness by asking RTD to get public feedback in revising their Code of Conduct and to eliminate the policies most obviously targeting the unhoused, they listened! Now it’s time to share your thoughts on the newest revisions so taking transit can remain a truly public service open to all. If you can make it, attend RTD’s community meeting on Saturday, April 29 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Chestnut Pavilion at Denver Union Station, or submit a comment online. Please reply to this email to let me know if you are planning to attend any of the meetings above so I can send you a reminder and keep you informed!
