Crews respond to 3-alarm fire in Denver

DENVER — Crews are responding to a three-alarm fire at a construction site in Denver that has prompted evacuation alerts Friday night.
The Denver Fire Department said the fire near Leetsdale Drive and South Holly Street was reported at around 7 p.m. Friday. The fire department said the fire is in a building under construction.
It’s not clear whether construction workers were present when the fire started, Denver Fire said. The agency did not have information about possible injuries.
A 9NEWS crew in the area received evacuation alerts on their phones.
Denver Police said Leetsdale Drive is closed in both directions while officers help with road closures due to the fire.
