| The long awaited stoplight at Newport and Alameda is nearing construction! The construction contract was approved by City Council on Dec. 6. Weather depending, work will begin sometime in the next few months. At the Council Office’s request, this stoplight will include automatic walk signals so that our Orthodox Jewish residents do not have to push a button on Shabbat in order to safely cross Alameda Ave. |
