Walk FOR the Canal – Highline Canal

Posted on June 14, 2022 by Jane

We’re excited to invite you and your community to join us for the third annual WALK FOR THE CANAL – where we encourage people to walk, run, roll and ride to support our 71-mile High Line Canal! We hope this friendly challenge will again inspire our communities to get moving outdoors while raising much-needed funds to improve the Canal with more trees, safer access and more! With a new format this year, the event is one week from June 20-26 and includes family-friendly events all throughout the week! Here’s a quick summary of the event:

  • What: Walk FOR the Canal Week
  • When: June 20-26, 2022
  • Why: Get active, connect with nature and show your love for the Canal
  • How: Register online at https://highlinecanal.org/walk/ as an individual or team
  • NEW this year: Join us for family-friendly events all across the Canal, including nature walks, a cleanup, happy hours, a Dogs & Donuts event and more – see the most up to date schedule at https://highlinecanal.org/walk-schedule/

Will you help us spread the word about the event? We’d love for you to share with your network of followers, newsletter subscribers, employees and anyone else! We encourage the entire Denver-metro area to participate! To make things easy, we have created a resources page to aid in promoting the event.
