Does this look familiar? Yikes!
Today, WDCA reported via email a number of problem areas with huge ruts, handicap access blockage, street flooding and limited exit access from driveways. We included multiple photos and copied District 3 Police, Denver Office of Transportation & Infrastructure/DOTI and our City Council office.
Specifically reported:
- Snow (and a large tire tread) piled to middle of E. Exposition which prevents residents with driveway exits to E. Exposition having a choice which direction they exit.
- Huge, tire-gobbling ruts at S. Pontiac Way/S. Oneida Way and flooding snow melt from S. Pontiac Way to S. Pontiac Street. Ice and flooding blocks public sidewalks and handicap access and is dangerous for bikers and vehicles.
- Ice and ruts at intersection of S. Niagara St/S. Dakota – the newly installed bike lane route and primary walking route to nearby synagogues.
If you have other areas that are dangerous for pedestrians, bikers and autos, please report directly to 311
Phone 311- takes a while because they are short-staffed
Email at 311@denvergov.org and if possible, send photo attachments
