The Choice Services-Transportation program offers transportation for personal and medical appointments at no cost to adults aged 60 and over throughout the Denver metro. The program was developed as a pilot in 2020 and became an official program of the Area Agency on Aging in 2022. The Area Agency on Aging Transportation program currently contracts with multiple transportation providers for this service. Clients receive their choice of transportation provider depending on their transit needs and location.
Eligibility Requirements:
- 60 and older.
- Live in the DRCOG Area Agency on Aging service area of Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Gilpin counties.
- Ability to coordinate other transportation options if their ride cannot be completed.
- Be able to independently request rides. Caregivers may request transportation on behalf of participants under certain circumstances.
